Stamford resident Carl Hubbard, 35, has been sentenced to 77 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty in May to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and marijuana.
In May last year, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Stamford Police Department made controlled purchases of cocaine from Hubbard and a purchase of crack cocaine from an associate, after he had arranged the two sales.
That led to a court-authorized wiretap, which confirmed that Hubbard was receiving marijuana from Stamford native William Reyes, and cocaine from other sources. They then distributed the drugs to individuals in Fairfield County.
Reyes pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and was sentenced to 41 months in prison on March 29.

Hubbard and Reyes were arrested on July 26 last year.
At the time of their arrest, investigators seized $2,933 in cash that Hubbard had him, and $9,450 that was being stashed at a family member’s house.
A court-authorized search of Hubbard’s house led to the seizure of 18 kilograms of marijuana, paraphernalia associated with drug distribution, and $71,004 in cash.
The subsequent search of a Dutchess County home that Reyes used to grow and distribute marijuana led to the seizure of 140 plants and equipment. Hubbard has been detained since his arrest last year.
